Metrocrest Services | Senior Independence Program
A nonprofit offering services to help low-income seniors (60+) and adults with disabilities in the Metrocrest area remain independent. Services include:

  • Nutrition Access: Temporary home-delivered meals, food pantry delivery, and SNAP enrollment support.
  • Health & Safety: Minor home repairs, safety equipment installation (e.g., grab bars), healthcare guidance, and financial safety workshops.
  • Short-Term Financial Assistance: Help with rent and utility bills during crises.
  • Mobility Options: Free transportation to medical appointments and grocery stores.
  • Community Engagement: Volunteer opportunities, including compassion calls and event support.

Eligibility: Residents of Addison, Carrollton, Coppell, Farmers Branch, or Dallas (75287) who are 60+ or have a disability, with limited financial resources.

Meals on Wheels

Meals on Wheels Denton County

A nonprofit delivering nutritious meals to homebound Metrocrest seniors (60+) or those with disabilities via SPAN-Transit. Offers daily wellness checks and social connection. Partners with Seniors’ Pet Assistance Network (SPAN) to provide free pet food and basic veterinary care alongside meals.
