A behavioral health hospital in Carrollton providing inpatient and outpatient treatment for mental health and addiction challenges for adults (18+), with outpatient programs for children/adolescents (9-18) at Frisco and McKinney locations. Services include:

  • Mental Health Treatment: Therapy for depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, and other conditions.
  • Addiction Treatment: Medical detox, inpatient rehab, and outpatient programs for substance abuse.
  • Veterans Services: Help for Heroes program with intensive outpatient (IOP) and partial hospitalization (PHP) for veterans, first responders, and healthcare workers.
  • Therapies: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), group/family therapy, and mindfulness training.
  • Inpatient Care: 24/7 medical supervision, psychiatric assessments, and medication management in a 78-bed facility.
  • Outpatient Programs: PHP (5-6 days/week) and IOP (3-5 days/week, min. 9 hours) with therapy, education, and discharge planning.
  • Specialized Care: Treatment for co-occurring disorders, seniors, and trauma survivors.

Metrocare

A nonprofit providing mental health and developmental disability services for low-income residents in the Metrocrest area serving children, teens and adults. Offers onsite care coordination at Metrocret Services. Services include:

  • Mental Health Care: Individual/group therapy, psychiatric evaluations, medication management for adults and children.
  • Primary Care: Basic medical care at select clinics.
  • Veterans Services: Specialized mental health, case management, and support for veterans and families.
  • Accessible Pharmacies: Low-cost prescriptions at Metrocare clinics.
  • Homeless Outreach: Support and resources for housing stability.
  • Social Services: Care coordination and case management.
  • Disability Programs: Early Childhood Intervention, Flourishing Families, Nurturing Parenting, and Supported Employment for babies, children, and adults with disabilities.

NAMI does not offer medical or clinical services but can provide basic mental health information and resources available.
