Child Care Group

Child Care Group, a Dallas-based nonprofit established in 1901, provides comprehensive early childhood education and support services for low-income families across multiple Texas counties, including Dallas. Its mission is to champion a two-generation approach that supports both children and parents, offering high-quality, often free, early childhood education for children from birth to age 5 through center-based and home-based programs, as well as partnerships with local school districts. The organization manages the Child Care Assistance (CCA) program, providing financial scholarships to over 22,000 children to offset childcare costs, enabling parents to work, attend school, or pursue job training. Additionally, Child Care Group trains over 6,100 early childhood professionals annually, delivering more than 15,000 hours of professional development to enhance childcare quality. It operates six NAEYC-accredited centers, emphasizing small class sizes, low child-to-teacher ratios, and individualized education plans to prepare children for school and support family well-being, aiming to break the cycle of poverty.
